If your planning a serious overseas trip a travel blog is a great way to let your family and friends back home enjoy your trip as you travel. There are many ways of making a blog but using www.blogger.com is the most popular. If you set up a group of contacts in your Google account then each time you update your blogsite, an automatic email will be generated to tell your friends to check the blog for new photos and text.
Don’t forget to set the blog up and practise using it well before you leave home otherwise you will waste valuable travel time in Internet cafes learning what to do.
You can also add extra links to website related to the trip area. In my bolgsite below I added a link to Uluru and te Western Australi wildflowers so friends back home could learn more background.
