Silohuettes - are easy. Point the camera at the
bright part of the sky (to fool the camera that the
picture is light) then half click the shutter -
reframe the photo to include the dark objects, then

When photographing a famous landmark watch how the
light affects it during the day and try shooting
from different angles.
People add interest to landscapes.
Watch for subtle colours and lighting.

you can control your shutter speed - use 1/125
shutter with waterfalls to show movement but retain
a natural look to the water.
Early morning water can be like a mirror.
Shooting directly into the sun and hiding the sun
behind an object gives very dramatic results
Landscapes are about looking for dramatic lighting

in the bush turn your flash off, use high ISO and
increase the brightness a little to absorb the
natural light.
